Although models have been displayed at most of our Conventions, 2007 was the first year that cash prizes were awarded to the models. This was divided into six classes.
Locomotives – Freight Cars – Passenger Cars – Maintenance of Way – Caboose – Structures. Not all classes were represented this time but plans were laid for the next time around.

The short lived Argentine Central was closely associated with the C&S narrow gauge system so this On3 Shay by Dan Abbott was eligible for the contest.
